THE
PRAYER GOD ANSWER
PRAYER
ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL
QUESTIONS:
What is Gods will? God has a way of doing things for his own glory. Sometimes
,mans way and/or will (through a Christian ) may be different
from God’s will. Is it true ? (Read Ezra
8:21; Isaiah 55:8).
God’s will is not contrary to what is written in the
scripture. A prayer may not be answered if a Christian goes contrary to the
Biblical commands/injunction. A prayer may not be answered if a Christian goes
according to his personal will or directives. (Gen 4:5-7).A prayer may not be answer if one is ignorant of what the
scripture describe but is led according to the dictates of his own heart .
It is therefore important to inquire what the will
of God toward any prayer point you offer is.
A
PRAYER OF FAITH
QUESTION: What dose faith mean?
Many Christian know in theory that faith is that is
important but do not know what it is . Faith is agreeing with what God said
.And to have is to agree with God . 1st Kings 18:36.
Two aspect of faith is needed in this definition.
To have confidence that God will do what he has said
he will do.
The other is faithfulness to God’s word. (Daniel
3:16-18. Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are
not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us
from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O
king. But
if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor
worship the golden image which thou hast set up. ) This Hebrew man believed in God’s word
and was faithful in what God can do. See (Isaiah 43:2-3. But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that
formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee
by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through
the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. )
